HSA Saliva detection test is a chromatographic immunoassay for rapid detection of human α-amylase to identify human saliva.
The enzyme α-amylase is found in particularly high concentrations in saliva and primarily serves to break down polysaccharides.
You may test more than one article or stained area at the time, but if the test is positive, you will not know which item contained human saliva.

High sensitivity and specificity
Detects quantities as little as 1 µl of human saliva
No cross-reaction to blood, semen, urine, vaginal secretions, or menstrual blood.
